A new place for your Coffee Break

I’m delighted to welcome you to the new Coffee Pot Book Club

Fear not – you will easily find your way round. The layout remains the same as Mary Anne Yarde’s fabulous blog, where you can still find all tours and posts Mary Anne has organised. A small number of booked tours may cross over after September, but we will ensure all posts are shared widely.

The only difference is that you'll have a new Coffee Pot Book Club blog tour and guest post organiser – me, Cathie Dunn!

Some of you may know me already. After all, I’ve been a reviewer with The Coffee Pot Book Club for a few years and hosted many authors on my blog, Ruins & Reading, and before that, on my personal blog. In the past, I reviewed novels for the Historical Novel Society, where my first ever review was picked as Editor’s Choice, and I’ve been a host / reviewer for other blog tour organisers. And I also write historical fiction, and I’ve been an editor and publisher...

With Mary Anne and Ellie taking a well-deserved step back, I’m looking forward to getting started. It’s an exciting venture, and I can’t wait to organise fabulous tours for authors – with the help of our wonderful bloggers!

Schedules for new tours will start in September, following the announcements of the prestigious Coffee Pot Book Club Book of the Year Awards 2022. (Look out for those on Mary Anne’s blog!)

So if you have a new book coming out that you’d like to send on a tour, or a current release that’s crying out for a bit of TLC from reviewers, please get in touch, and we can get the ball rolling!

Our new contact details are on the Get in Touch page. You can browse our available tours here at leisure, before choosing one that suits you best. And if you have any questions before committing, feel free to ask. We’re happy to help.

We will keep offering slots for guest posts in future. Oh, and talking of the Coffee Pot Book Club Book of the Year Awards – these will of course continue too.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being a host with The Coffee Pot Book Club (and will continue to do so, time permitting), and liaising with Mary Anne and Ellie. They’ve both been marvellous. And it’s been such a pleasure discovering so many wonderful books.

I hope you’ll continue enjoying our tours and posts. I’m looking forward to meeting you on your next Coffee Break.

Best,
Cathie Dunn xx
