Book Promotion – The Easy, Affordable Way

Many of our regular friends & followers know now that I took over The Coffee Pot Book Club in the summer 2022, from Mary Anne Yarde, who had founded it back in 2015.

As of this year, Mary Anne is back with us, looking after our editorial reviews, whilst I focus on blog tours, book spotlights, and our prestigious Book of the Year Awards. Trust me – sharing makes life so much easier! :-)

But what not everyone knows is that Mary Anne started up her own book promotion business, Yarde Reviews & Book Promotion, with her daughter, Ellie, a couple of years ago. They offer really affordable, effective social media promotions, beautiful book banners, and detailed editorial reviews at prices to suit all budgets.

So today, I'd like to tell you about the fabulous *May Sale* over at Yarde Reviews & Book Promotion. Make sure to check it out!

Why promote your book?

Unless you're a top-list author with a major publishing house, and flavour of the month, you'll have to do some marketing for your books. It's a simple fact – unless you want to watch your wonderful books disappear into a black hole.

The age of indie- and self-publishing has brought not only the freedom to see your plotted novel in print, audio, or electronically, but alongside it, with the rise of social media, we have gained valuable spaces where we can reach many more potential readers.

But even when you are social-media savvy, just where do you start? You don't want to keep shouting "Buy my book!" at your friends. Soon enough, they'd disown you. And once all those friends have a copy of your book, how to reach new readers?

You can start posting across various social media channels, such as:

Facebook

Twitter / X

Instagram

Bluesky

Threads

TikTok

Mastodon

etc ...

But to catch readers’ attention, your post needs to look attractive, enticing. As I said above, simply shouting "Buy my book!" just puts people off.

You can make nice banners, try different marketing blurbs, create universal links (remember: readers should be 1 click away from your product, or they'll lose interest!), and keep posting away.

Oh, and of course you'll need to work, write, look after family, walk the dog...

Not enough hours in the day, eh?!

That's where a highly-recommended, reputable book promoter like Yarde Reviews & Book Promotion comes in.

With a decade of experience in book promotion and book reviews, especially historical fiction, but also other genres, Mary Anne and Ellie can help make your book shine. Their large following across various social media platforms, and on their hugely popular, award-winning blog, authors automatically have access to a large audience of potential readers.

They also offer discounts for access to Netgalley and book awards.

Furthermore, Mary Anne and Ellie keep their promotions reasonably-priced, so authors on low budgets can afford marketing, too.

This month, Yarde Reviews & Book Promotion offer special rates, including two-for-one Book Spotlight Packages for just £5! And their editorial reviews are also reduced.
